Cosmetic Dentistry

While a traditional dentist treats and prevents problems that could lead to dental deterioration and disease, a cosmetic dentist provides treatments that improve the appearance of your teeth and gums. Many cosmetic procedures also improve your overall dental health, but their main purpose is to restore or create symmetry and give your smile a healthy, natural appearance. Today’s cosmetic dentists employ new technology and methods that preserve as much of your natural tooth as possible which makes your cosmetic restorations look more natural and last longer.

  • Crowns
  • Veneers
  • Implants
  • Invisalign
  • ClearAligners

Crowns are caps on teeth. Helping protect teeth. They maybe tooth colored or metal. They form long lasting stability in the mouth.

Require a thin layer of tooth removal to achieve ideal perfection whether it maybe for color or pegged laterals.

Implants help replace teeth that are otherwise missing in your mouth or teeth that are unrestorable. They can be used in to hold dentures, single tooth placements and help achieve the smile you once thought was lost!

Invisalign and Clear aligners

Invisalign is braces for the people who want braces but don't want to be noticed wearing them. The functionality of Invisalign is the reason doctors recommend it as a first option. Invisalign utilizes white attachments on teeth to help process movement in the mouth!

Clear aligners are retainers that move your teeth with the utilization of moving teeth in increments to get the desired results. Some functions of clear aligners have purpose for minor movements in the mouth. The craze of Smile Direct Club is what clear aligners are. They have a purpose and hover around the same price point.

Affordable quality dentures can stop those ill effects and restore your health and smile. We are always available to discuss dentures. Goals of dentures are attaining up to 25% of existing tooth function. They are the most common option for patients with unrestorable teeth. Give our office a call, and we’ll get you started on the path to better oral health.

Complete Dentures

  • Upper complete dentures utilize the hard palate (top of your mouth) to perform adhesion utilizing the suction in the likes of two pieces of wet glass stuck together.  Offering implant placements on upper cases can help with pt’s still needing that extra support
  • Lower complete dentures utilize a thin ridge and have no retention. They have their place. Dr. Berry highly recommends/requires utilizing implants to help retain a complete lower denture.
  • Upper partial and Lower partial dentures utilize existing teeth to help retain the removable prosthesis in your mouth. Highly affordable and a great alternative for people missing a few teeth and want to smile again!

Oral Surgery

Oral Surgery usually involves invasive procedures.

Majority of the time involves removal of dentition (teeth).

Impacted teeth removal. If teeth do not emerge out of the gums like they are supposed to, they can cause problems such as crowding, infections or diseased tissue. However, this can be fixed with a simple tooth extraction. Your dentist, or in some cases, your orthodontist, will monitor your mouth and recommend if any misaligned or crowded teeth should be removed to preserve the full integrity of your mouth.

Wisdom teeth removal. Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are very commonly removed because many jaws are not large enough to accommodate them. If they do not grow in properly, they can cause infections, swelling, and shifting of other teeth. Learn more about wisdom teeth removal.

Improve fit of dentures. Sometimes dentures can fit uncomfortably if a jaw has irregularities and is lacking support of the dentures.

Dental implants are tooth root substitutes placed in the jawbone. Artificial teeth are then attached to the substitute root, which is actually a titanium rod. Dental implants are an option to replace one tooth, several teeth, or even all of your teeth.

Your first exam in our office is an important one. Our dentist will look at your teeth, gums and entire mouth, evaluating your current health and looking for areas of concern. Your dentist will:

  • Assess your risk for dental decay.

  • Evaluate whether you have any signs of oral cancer.

  • Examine your gums for periodontal disease.

Adult prophylaxis (Routine Cleaning) – is a general cleaning. During your fexam you may just need that to continue with excellence in oral hygiene!

Scaling and Root planing (Deep Cleaning) – is based on quadrants in the mouth. This is a more invasive procedure requiring local anesthetic. This is due to periodontal disease or bone loss surrounding your teeth.  Following SRPs which vary based on each individual patient. Pt would be placed on a 3month re-care regime to help promote oral health and prevent further bone loss or complete loss of dentition.

Homecare- The single most important factor in oral hygiene. You are the X factor in determining the longevity of your oral health. Brushing twice a day for 2 minutes each day. Utilizing floss each day, can help with delivering the best outcome for your smile!

Teeth Whitening

Professional whitening treatments are the most effective at removing stains on tooth enamel caused by smoking and consumption of certain foods and drinks, including coffee, tea, soda, and wine. However, certain types of tooth discoloration, such as tetracycline stains, discoloration caused by overexposure to fluoride, and advanced decay, are not susceptible to teeth whitening gels. In addition, professional whitening will not lighten dental restoration materials (crowns, veneers, bridges, and fillings). Lastly, professional whitening isn’t permanent, and you will need touch-up whitening treatments to maintain your sparkling smile. This can be performed in our office or with our at-home treatment.

  • In-house whitening is utilized for instant boost! We utilize evidence-based dentistry in ensuring to deliver our patients the best results!
  • Custom tray- is a great option for people wanting to have a more personalized whitening experience. Usually uses a higher prescription of peroxide then to-go whitening methods.
